The Thailand Tigers hosted the Jakarta Bintangs this weekend in a hard fought footy match.
There were plenty of thrills and spills which saw a few boys carried off throughout the game - reinforcing the seriousness of competition in Asian International Footy! A new Tigers team took to field for the first time under captain Saul Morgan and playing coach Patto, minus its former stars of Cleavey, Doc and Hooey to mention a few. With a quick couple of goals the Bintangs got in front in the first quarter where they maintained their lead throughout the game.
The Tigers never gave up and held tight to not give an inch in the last half, but unfortunately the margin already being to great the Bintangs won the match. The final score being : Tigers 8.8. 56 Bintangs 18.4. 112
